On March 23, Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau held the World Meteorological Day activities and the launch ceremony of "Shenzhen Station, the Theme Exhibition of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of People's Meteorological Events" at the Civic Center. Zhang Hua, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen attended the meeting, the Meteorological Publicity and Science Popularization Center of China Meteorological Administration (China Meteorological News Agency), Guangdong Meteorological Administration and local departments of education, ecological environment, water affairs, culture and tourism, emergency management in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Press Group, Shenzhen Radio, Film and Television Group, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), Huawei Cloud and other cooperation units, Leaders of relevant associations and representatives of teachers and students attended the event.

During the event, Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau, together with Huawei Cloud and Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), released two new technologies, "Zhiji 2.0" and "Zhitong", which will further enhance Shenzhen's meteorological early warning capability. "Zhiji 2.0" is an artificial intelligence region ensemble forecasting model, which can minimize the error of a single forecasting model. Innovative application of regional migration nested joint technology scheme to improve the precipitation forecast effect; Increase the frequency of model operation to improve the operation efficiency of regional model services. Zhitong can provide location-based minute-level precipitation forecast services, and its ability to forecast heavy precipitation has exceeded the traditional short-time forecast, and the effective forecast time has been extended from 1 hour to 3 hours.

Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau, jointly with the Meteorological Publicity and Science Popularization Center of China Meteorological Administration (China Meteorological Newspaper), organized the 80th anniversary of the People's meteorological cause exhibition Shenzhen Station, launched today, and will last until April 20. This exhibition not only shows the development of China's meteorological cause and the achievements of China's meteorological modernization to the public, but also shows the development history of Shenzhen's meteorological and high-quality development achievements, further stimulating the attention of all sectors of society to meteorological early warning, so that more people can join hands to participate in the comprehensive action of Shenzhen's meteorological early warning.

On the basis of the public solicitation of public opinions in the early stage, the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau also released eight new meteorological services and products in 2025 at the launch ceremony. Including high-level early warning information into the campus, healthy life weather intelligent card service, sunrise, sunset and sunset weather landscape index, astronomical observation signal service in the eastern coastal area, meteorological parameters of industrial park planning control engineering, meteorological risk intelligent warning for users in key industries, rainstorm probability forecast service, and meteorological disaster risk early warning Longhua pilot.

On the eve of the World Meteorological Day, Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau also organized two Open Day activities, and more than 150 teachers and students walked into the meteorological Bureau to visit meteorological monitoring facilities, experience the weather program recording process, and listen to popular science lectures.
