Qianhai Technology Participates in the First Meteorological Economy Expo, Helping Meteorological Services Move from "Basic Support" to "Economic Engine"
From July 18th to 20th, the First Meteorological Economy Expo, hosted by the China Meteorological Service Association, was grandly held in Hefei, focusing on new opportunities for the integration of meteorological technology and industry. With the theme of "Meteorology Integrating into the New Economy, Joining Hands to Create a Better Future", this expo gathered nearly 100 enterprises from more than 20 fields such as meteorology, low-altitude economy, new energy, artificial intelligence, transportation and tourism, and health agriculture to display their meteorological technological achievements.
Leaders including Li Heping, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Vice Chairman of the Anhui Provincial CPPCC; Luo Yunfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Hefei Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of the Hefei Municipal People's Government; Tan Zhemin, President of the Chinese Meteorological Society and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Xu Xiaofeng, President of the China Meteorological Service Association, as well as Sun Jian, Vice President of the association, attended the opening ceremony.
As a deep-rooted leader in the field of meteorological detection, its core products have served over 80% of meteorological-related institutions across the country. This time, it showcased advanced equipment and solutions from three core businesses at the expo, namely ground-based remote sensing detection, meteorological support for low-altitude economy, and airborne detection. During the expo tour, leading experts and officials attending the event visited the booth for exchanges. Si Chengyan, Deputy General Manager of Qianhai Technology, warmly introduced the innovative advantages and application scenarios of the business.

Ground-based remote sensing detection: Accurate monitoring and all-weather protection
Qianhai Technology's high-precision meteorological remote sensing equipment can realize all-weather monitoring of key meteorological elements such as atmospheric temperature and humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and precipitation, providing reliable data support for meteorological early warning, disaster prevention and mitigation.
The microwave radiometer (SMR-100) can detect temperature and humidity profiles from the ground up to an altitude of 10 km. It obtained the equipment license issued by the national authority in 2021, with a cumulative sales volume of over 300 units. The two-dimensional visible raindrop spectrometer (SVD-2) can measure the size, shape and speed of particles such as rain, snow and hailstones, and has been applied to key projects in Xinjiang, Shanxi, Hubei and other regions.

Low-altitude economy meteorological support: Safeguarding the safe flight of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and eVTOLs
With the rapid development of the low-altitude economy (such as unmanned aerial vehicle logistics and urban air transportation), the impact of meteorological conditions on flight safety has become increasingly critical. Qianhai Technology's low-altitude meteorological support equipment can monitor dangerous weather such as low-altitude wind shear, turbulence, and local strong convection in real time, providing accurate meteorological services for low-altitude flights and ensuring route safety. At present, the company has formed a three-in-one solution of "ground-based monitoring, route coverage, and take-off and landing point support". It has innovatively launched the "Wind Listener" series of laser wind measurement radars. The long-range scanning type has a horizontal detection distance of more than 20 kilometers; the medium-range vertical type is only the size of an A4 paper and weighs less than 10kg, which can be used for mobile detection. The miniaturized 3D scanning laser wind measurement radar weighs only 7.5kg and can realize airborne detection. The integrated small weather station has a high degree of integration and is equipped with a self-developed freezing rain sensor. A patch-type sensor has been developed for this sensor, which can be mounted on aircraft.Airborne detection: Flexible and mobile with precise values
The Cloud Imaging and Analysis System (SCIP-200) and the Cloud Combination Detection and Analysis System (SCCP-200) can be mounted on platforms such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and general aviation aircraft. They enable flexible and efficient collection of meteorological data, and are applicable to various scenarios including weather modification, emergency monitoring, and scientific research detection.Wonderful Review of the Roadshow: New Breakthroughs in Meteorological Support for the Low-Altitude Economy
On the morning of July 19, Qianhai Technology shared "The Application of Meteorological Detection Equipment in Meteorological Support for the Low-Altitude Economy" during the roadshow session, focusing on introducing the company's technological innovations and industry solutions in the field of low-altitude meteorological monitoring.
With its high-precision, high-reliability and intelligent meteorological detection products, Qianhai Technology is gradually becoming a core supplier in the meteorological industry. In the future, the company will continue to deepen its efforts in meteorological technology, provide better services for smart cities, aviation safety, emergency management and other fields, and explore more possibilities of meteorological technology.
|Thanks to the full cooperation and hard work of all colleagues at Qianhai Technology, the journey of the First Meteorological Economy Expo has come to a successful conclusion.
